Florida’s Leading Virtual Outpatient Program

At Connections of Florida, we are dedicated to providing the utmost in clinically excellent care that meets patients where they are on their recovery journeys. We provide virtual intensive outpatient programming (IOP) for adults age 18 and older who are struggling with addictions and dual diagnosis concerns.

About the Connections of Florida Virtual IOP

The Connections of Florida virtual intensive outpatient program is a comprehensive, evidence-based program that is designed for adults who are navigating substance use disorders and dual diagnoses. Built around a seven-week rotating curriculum, the program integrates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), SMART Recovery, and motivational interviewing to provide a structured path to achieving recovery.

The Connections of Florida virtual IOP is only available for residents of Florida, and patients must be physically located in the state of Florida when participating in sessions. Programming is entirely virtual and takes place via a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform.

What To Expect at Connections of Florida

Recognizing that consistency is key, programming in the Connections of Florida virtual IOP is structured so that patients know what to expect during each of their sessions. This allows patients the peace of mind of knowing what their time in the program will look like when they sign on each day. Patients receive a full explanation of what they can expect while they are in the program during their admissions process.

Treatment in the Connections of Florida virtual IOP is individualized based on each person’s specific needs. While the program is designed to last seven weeks, the actual length of time a person may spend in the program can vary based on their needs and personalized treatment plan. If someone stays in the program longer than seven weeks, it is appropriate for them to repeat the curriculum.

The virtual IOP includes two 90-minute group sessions held four days a week, Monday-Thursday. We also offer individual therapy sessions so that patients are able to have confidential, one-on-one support.
